AMARANTO – Colli Tortonesi Rosso
The grapes come exclusively from vineyards of about 40 years of age, in Montagnola site.
Barbera 75% and Merlot 25%.
The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes of 15 kg each.
After pressing and rasping, maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with frequent mixing, for about 10 days.
18 months in steel tanks and another 12 months in bottle.
Colour: ruby red, full and compact.
Bouquet: large width and finesse, with lovely notes of plum, blackberry and pomegranate.
Taste: full, soft and balanced.
Stuffed pasta, salami, red and white meats, mature cheeses.
