We formed Cascina Montagnola in 1997, following a lifestyle choice. Out of our love for fine wine and for this region, my husband Bruno and I decided to leave town and change our jobs and rhythms to follow a great passion.
For more than fifteen years, this passion has transformed every single sip of our wines into something very special.
I collaborate with Cascina Montagnola since early 1997, sharing the production philosophy, geared towards making strict and uncompromising quality choices.
During those years the work of enhancement of historic vineyards business and planting new varieties has always been held in a climate of active cooperation with the property, with the agronomist and the manager of the winery and the vineyards.
I’ve been working with Cascina Montagnola since 1998, when I came from the Philippines, my country of origin, where with my family was leading an agricultural activity based on rice cultivation rice.
I was curious, and I approached the Montagnola with great interest and desire to discover a new reality, to which I immediately set to with passion and desire to learn.
I do my job in collaboration with farm consultants with which I feel perfectly in tune; an ideal team for successful efforts.
Working in agriculture is primarily a way of life, though not easy, requiring compliance with trade and total committment of all players at any level.
The agronomic practice, albeit in evolution, tends to standardize with time and to become common to most, even if the place features don’t change.
Those features are what we keep and value.
I like to work with a cooperative philosophy and team spirit within the farm; at Cascina Montagnola I found this spirit, essential for our quality goals.
